A value around 1.351 index is typical (50th percentile) for females in this age group. The middle 50% of the reference population fall between about 1.298 index and 1.413 index; values below or above that central range sit in the lower or upper half of the distribution.

These percentiles reflect the US population (adult obesity rate 42.4% by BMI, Hales et al. 2020); in a leaner population the same Conicity Index would be expected to rank at a higher percentile, though we did not find a directly comparable non-US Conicity table to quantify that.
