Push-Ups: Males, Age 20-29

Push-ups measure upper body muscular endurance. Males perform standard push-ups (from toes); females perform modified push-ups (from knees). Both are tested continuously to failure with no time limit. Data are from the CSEP-PATH norms (Payne et al. 2000), the most widely used push-up reference standard, adopted by the ACSM and republished in major fitness textbooks.
