Push-Ups: Females, Age 60-69
Push-ups measure upper body muscular endurance. Males perform standard push-ups (from toes); females perform modified push-ups (from knees). Both are tested continuously to failure with no time limit. Data are from the CSEP-PATH norms (Payne et al. 2000), the most widely used push-up reference standard, adopted by the ACSM and republished in major fitness textbooks.

What these numbers mean for females aged 60-69
A score around 8 reps is typical (50th percentile) for females in this age group. Scores above about 12 reps fall near the 75th percentile or higher, indicating above-average performance. Scores below about 5 reps fall near the 25th percentile, about 75% of the reference population scored higher.
Percentiles show how common a value is, not whether it is healthy.
