The score is the weight pushed on a Universal DVR bench press machine divided by bodyweight. The displayed age groups contain 6,046 men and 1,134 women (n=7,180). The source also reports 60 men and 20 women in an under-20 column that FitnessNorms excludes.
The equipment and population differ from the site's barbell competition norms. A machine ratio cannot be converted into a barbell one-repetition maximum by applying a universal factor. The source table does not provide enough detail to publish a reliable step-by-step loading protocol.
The current numeric table was manually corrected before this review and is preserved exactly. Automated OCR and reviewer readings of scanned images are used to flag differences, not to overwrite a published value. Permanent checks lock the reviewed data and verify its age-page and trend copies.
